v0.2.5 — model picker for Ollama (and everything OpenAI-compatible)
download this release
Settings now lists the models the configured server actually serves. It tries the OpenAI-compatible /v1/models first (llama-server, LiteLLM, vLLM, and Ollama's compat layer) and falls back to Ollama's native /api/tags, which also shows each installed model's on-disk size. Opening Settings auto-loads the list into a dropdown; type-a-custom-name still works. Point Settings at Ollama's LAN address, e.g. http://<ip>:11434. Note: agent tool-calling needs a model that supports tools (llama3.1+/qwen2.5+ etc. in Ollama); chat works with any model.

v0.2.4 — tools run again (approval deadlock fixed)
download this release
Fixed the bug where write_file/run_shell parked forever: the approval dialog was shown but Run it / Decline completed a deferred that was never registered, so the first mutating tool call hung the whole turn (read/list/search were unaffected). Now the tap actually releases the tool, and stopping a turn while a dialog is open closes the dialog cleanly. Also added JVM unit tests for the SSE tool-call reassembly, wire serialization, and the self-update version comparison (11 passing). Update: if you're on 0.2.3, the in-app updater will offer this; installs on 0.2.2 or older need one more manual adb install.

v0.2.3 — in-app self-update
download this release
The app now updates itself: on launch it checks notdouble.com for a newer release of superintelligence-android and shows an update icon in the top bar when one exists (deep badge behavior: check hub version + artifacts field vs the installed versionName). Tapping it downloads the bin/superintelligence-android-<version>.apk artifact into app cache with a progress ring, then launches the system installer via FileProvider. First update needs the one-time 'allow installs from superintelligence-android' toggle (Android rule for sideloads); the app opens the Settings toggle for you, then a tap on the same button completes the install. Later releases are a single tap, no manual APK downloads. Note: installing THIS release still requires the manual adb install — the updater exists inside it for everything after.

v0.2.2 — input bar now rides above the keyboard
download this release
Fixed: the text input bar no longer stays hidden behind the on-screen keyboard. Root cause: the app runs edge-to-edge, so the window never resizes when the IME opens — the content has to pad for the IME insets itself. Applied the standard Compose pattern (padding -> consumeWindowInsets -> imePadding) on the chat and settings screens, plus auto-scroll to the newest message when the keyboard opens. APK updated in the bundle: bin/superintelligence-android-0.2.2.apk (versionCode 3).

v0.2.1 — installable APK now on the releases tab
download this release
The bundle now ships the built app: bin/superintelligence-android-0.2.1.apk (debug-signed, installable directly). Download it from the releases tab under 'artifacts in the bundle', or grab the raw file at /p/superintelligence-android/raw/bin/superintelligence-android-0.2.1.apk, then: adb install bin/superintelligence-android-0.2.1.apk && adb shell am start -n net.kentonc.si/.MainActivity. Settings -> point it at an OpenAI-compatible server on your LAN, e.g. http://192.168.1.10:8085. Source build unchanged: cd android && ./gradlew :app:assembleDebug.
