v0.6.0 — fix run on real Windows cmd
Reported from a real Windows box: 'nd run' failed with "'bin' is not recognized", because cmd splits bin/peter at the slash (command 'bin' + switch '/peter'); Wine's cmd is lenient about forward slashes and had hidden this. run is now 'bin\peter.exe || bin/peter || cargo run --release': cmd runs bin\peter.exe natively (no Rust needed), sh reports one harmless not-found on the backslash form and then runs the Linux ELF, and the last branch builds from source when no prebuilt exists. README documents the split and the resolution table.

v0.5.0 — run lives in the manifest, no launcher scripts
Read nd 0.8.9's source: nd run simply does 'sh -c <run> <args>' (cmd /C on Windows) with a single string, no build field or per-OS fields. So bin/runner and bin/runner.cmd are gone and the manifest now carries both behaviours: run = 'bin/peter || cargo run --release'. bin/peter is the native ELF on Linux and cmd resolves it to bin/peter.exe via PATHEXT on Windows, so the right prebuilt is picked automatically; if no prebuilt exists the || branch builds and runs from source. Verified: prebuilt (Linux), cargo fallback with bin/peter hidden, 'nd run' in a project dir, and the same chain through cmd under Wine. Force a source build with 'cargo run --release' — args are appended to the end of the run string, so a hypothetical --build would attach to the cargo side.

v0.4.0 — one run command for both platforms, plus --build
nd (0.8.9) still exposes a single run string and no build flag, so the project now ships its own launcher: bin/runner (sh) and bin/runner.cmd (cmd), wired up as run = 'bin/runner'. It runs the prebuilt binary matching the OS (bin/peter-linux-x86_64 / bin/peter.exe), and 'nd run <slug> --build' compiles with cargo build --release and runs the fresh binary instead. Verified: Linux prebuilt, Linux --build, Windows prebuilt via wine cmd, and Windows --build failing with a clear error where cargo is absent. Also refreshed README with the two run modes.
v0.4.0

v0.3.0 — Linux + Windows binaries, README
Added the prebuilt Linux x86-64 binary at bin/peter, alongside the existing Windows bin/peter.exe, and switched run to 'bin/peter' so nd run launches the native ELF on Linux and resolves to bin/peter.exe on Windows via PATHEXT. Added README.md: how to run the prebuilt builds, building from source (rustc 1.95+ MSRV), and the exact cross-compile recipe for Windows on Linux (Linux-hosted MinGW-w64; Zig's bundled MinGW sysroot is insufficient). Note: bundle is now 22.7 MB because it carries both binaries.

v0.2.0 — bundled Windows build
Added a prebuilt Windows x86_64 binary at bin/peter.exe (cross-compiled with MinGW-w64 via Zig/LLVM dlltool, Windows GUI subsystem, no MinGW runtime DLLs required). The manifest's run command is now 'bin/peter.exe', so nd run launches the bundled build: natively on Windows, or through Wine on Linux (Lets the .exe execute directly where Wine's binfmt handler is registered). Source build still works (rustc 1.95+).

v0.1.1 — explicit MSRV (rustc 1.95+)
Review feedback: eframe/egui 0.37 declare rust-version 1.95, so cargo refused to build on rustc 1.94 with a wall of dependency MSRV errors. Added rust-version = "1.95" to Cargo.toml so cargo fails fast with a clear message, and documented the requirement in the manifest (install: rustup update stable). No functional change.
